Stand in Mennies long enough and the whole world will pass you.
Standing in Mennies tonight engrossed in social media and in particular, the Russia Ukraine situation and I hear a voice from behind me. Is that Bob Costello I see?
A blast from the past, Rab Muir Great guy , and one of a bunch of equally great guys from an era gone by which was a significant 14 year period of my life.
A couple of weeks ago , I related an incident where I was in the Tay Bridge bar and a guy turned and said to me “ you look interesting , what is your story”
Well had I had a couple of days spare and related my story, Rab and the rest of the guys in that era would have played a big part in it.
So , thanks Rab for regenerating many wonderful memories of hard and trying , but satisfying times.
So to all my friends where ever on this planet you may be, have a wonderful weekend.
