The BBC and Diana/ Israel and Palestine/ Nicola Sturgeon, past and present.

Well, it has been some time since I wrote a “The World This Week from Mennies ” blog, almost a year, I think, but because of the relaxation in Covid restrictions I was there last night for a pint and quite possibly I might very well find myself there again tonight partaking in a small libation, last night whilst in the hallowed confines of my favorite hostelry I got to thinking of what was going on, and what had been happening of late.

Big news at the moment is the story about how the BBC lied and cheated their way to a very controversial interview with Princess Diana, twenty five years ago.
Now as most of you will know I am no fan if the royal family, seeing them as an outdated and useless anachronism in todays world, but regardless of that, Diana was the mother of Harry and William, They, in all probability did not have the same father, but that is another story.
The BBC acquired an interview with Diana through Martin Bashir, who persuaded Diana to give the interview through deception and the use of questionable and quite possibly, forged documents. Now this was discovered some considerable time ago and was covered up by senior executives in the BBC.
It has now all come out to the great surprise of many and not at all to some of us who have been warning of the veracity of countless actions of the BBC for an awful long time.
Examples of this are Jimmy Savile Rolf Harris, two of many pedophiles ensconced within the BBC, and protected by them. The obvious bias against Russia concerning the poisonings of the Skripals’, and a case nearer my own heart, the awful manner in which they reported on the Alex Salmond case, including the embarrassing one sided documentry by Kirsty Wark.
In 2014 when we were campaigning for independence the BBC were abominable in their biased reporting.
So regardless of my opinions of the royals these two young lads did not deserve to witness the treatment meted out to their Mother, a women who went on to meet her end in very suspicious circumstances, no doubt because she was about to marry a Muslim . Will there be justice? No, of course there will not be, there will be another whitewash., That is the shadowy world the security services work in, and the BBC are tools of both MI5 and MI6.

Over the last couple of weeks there has yet again been conflict in the middle east between Israel and the Palestinian people. The use of the word conflict perhaps gives the false impression that it is a dispute between two peoples of equal abilities, It isn’t by a long way, Israel has one if the most advanced armies on the planet and the Palestinians are a people who do not even have an airport. They are trapped in two corners of a country they once owned.
This conflict goes back to 1917 when the British government gave support in the Balfour declaration to the establishment of a Jewish home state in a part of the land which at that time was called Palestine they have lost most of their country as Israel expanded, aided and abetted by western powers who constantly turn a blind eye to the gradual genocide which continues on a daily basis.
Israel is run by a Zionist government, which is an extreme sect of the Jewish religion. Israel’s claim to the land is based on a fairy story surrounding the exodus which goes back to around three and a half thousand years ago.
It is time western governments stopped turning a blind eye to this slaughter and theft of land from the Palestinian people.

Here in Scotland the people who were persuaded to give both votes to the SNP in recent elections are waking up to the reality of the situation and that is that they have once again been fooled by Nicola Sturgeon into allowing unionists to be voted in to the Scottish parliament, Yes believe it or not , that is exactly what happened, The SNP once again received over a million votes in the regional vote which were wasted allowing a whole load of unionist members to be elected.
This election however gives the SNP yet another mandate( I think that is eight now) to hold a referendum, It wont happen, mind you, as they will once again use every excuse in the book to delay it.
Nicola Sturgeon has to go, for numerous reasons and it would seem her previous life and present private life are about to catch up with her, Hopefully this will expedite the process as she is the block to furthering the cause of independence.
What actually terrifies me is that she might actually have a go at another referendum and deliberately mess it up with a view to losing it, I am deadly serious.

So that is my very biased opinion of the world to night folks, have a pleasant Saturday evening and remember, “when in conflict with someone and before passing judgment, you should first walk a mile in his shoes, Then if you still do not agree, then at least you are a mile away from him and you have his shoes ”
